Dane Design’s Store Policies
Dane Design’s website is intended to give you a sampling of the furniture we carry. We encourage you to visit our store and see the furniture up close and feel the wood and fabrics, and sit in the comfortable chairs and sofas. If you choose to shop on line, we will ship to you or deliver when possible, at your expense. Shipping is by common carrier and freight claims are the buyer’s responsibility. Please inspect your shipment/delivery before signing the freight/delivery bill – this is noting that you have received the furniture in good condition. Delivery does not include removal of existing furniture or hook-up of electronic equipment. Please have your area cleared and ready for your new furniture. All delivery charges/freight charges are non-refundable. Special orders require a minimum 50% deposit to initiate the order. Special orders are non-refundable. Returns are allowed within 7 days of receipt of furniture for merchandise in perfect condition. Final sale items or special orders are non-refundable. Assembled items or items out of the original packaging may be returned within 7 days for a restocking fee of 30%, less any services. You are responsible for the pickup/freight charges both ways. Wood and leather are natural products and vary in color and graining. These are natural characteristics. Wood may have knot holes; leather may have scars. No two items are exactly alike and matching of items is approximate. All furniture at Dane Design carries a one year warranty. Many manufacturers have their own warranty. We will repair or replace defective or malfunctioning items for a period of one year. The warranty does not cover inspection on the customer’s premises, pick-up or shipping of the item. Final sale items are not covered under any warranty. Electrical products are covered for 90 days. Repair is subject to availability of parts and conditions beyond our control.
